Abstract

This research carries out a first approximation on the connection established between the possible situations of vulnerability and risk in which the buildings of the Archdiocese of Seville (Spain) could be, and a series of environmental factors that effect them (factors of altitude, pluviometry and variation of temperature). In this research, the data that has been put into practice has been provided by the Consejeria de Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucia (Regional Ministry of Environment of the Andalucia Board) for the year 2007 regarding each of the properties of the different municipalities of the province of Seville. Specifically, the study examines four groups of factors: a)Factors of durability / vulnerability (design, state of conservation, GEOTECNIA...); b)Factors of danger static- structural (modification of the STATE OF BURDEN, ventilation, FIRE BURDEN...), c)Factors of danger connected to the atmospheric environment (pluviometry, temperature..), d)Factors of danger anthropic ( uses, value of personal goods, demographic concentration...). As to this moment, the factors of danger connected to the atmospheric environment are those that have reached a higher rate of correlation with the final result.
