dc.description.abstractThermophysical properties such as dynamic viscosity (η), kinematic viscosities (υ), density (ρ), and refractive index (nD) of three binary mixtures: 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol (1) + 2-propanol (2), 2-methoxyethanol (1) + 2-propanol (2), and 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol (1) + 2-propanol (2) are presented at T = 298.15 and 313.15 K and at p = 0.1 MPa. Derivative properties were calculated from the measured thermophysical properties, including excess molar volume (VE), deviation in refractive index (ΔnD), and deviation in dynamic viscosity (Δη). Measured data of density, (ρ), for the three studied binary mixtures were predicted using the PC-SAFT equation of state. Furthermore, VE, ΔnD, and Δη calculated data were correlated using the Redlich–Kister equation. The intermolecular interactions, as reflected in the derivative properties for each binary mixture, are thoroughly discussed. © 2025 The Authors. Published by American Chemical Societyes
