Los análisis gráficos de la iglesia de San Miguel de Foces de Ibieca (Huesca)

Abstract

Departing from an exhaustive data collection and the later development of the plans, the metrology used in the building of the different parts of the temple, as well as geometry and regulated plans used in the design, were analyzed. Such studies have proved the relevance of the metrological and geometrical analyses in the research of historical architectures. In this particular case they have contributed to establish a number of conclusions related to the spatial organization of the temple, the stages of construction and the historiography of the architectural complex of the building, adding new information still unknown at present, redirecting beliefs which were not verified documentarily.
