| dc.description.abstract | The standard UNE-EN 15978 proposed a set of information modules for the environmental assessment of the life cycle stages of residential buildings, according to the Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) methodology: A1-A5 evaluate the impact of materials and construction, B1-B7 the use and maintenance, C1-C4 the end-of-life and D the loads beyond the system. On the other hand, several tools are being developed for assessing the sustainability of buildings (LEED, Verde, BREEAM, Level(s), etc.). In this context, the aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between both methodological frameworks, by reviewing the indicators included in these sustainability tools and their classification into LCA modules, with the purpose of identifying which modules are being considered with greater emphasis on these tools and which new modules could be incorporated, since there are indicators that cannot be related to the modules currently considered. © 2021 by the authors | es |
