The Importance of Educational Guidance at Every Stage of the Education System

Abstract

As recently observed, the academic failure in Secondary and Upper Secondary Schools and the number of students who undertake unsuccessfully their university adventure have significantly increased. This fact, that is taking place not only in Madrid but also at a national level, is the reason why in this article the importance of accomplishing a correct follow-up of the student at every stage of the education system will be underlined. This follow-up shall come within the Guideline Programs in centers and will be emphasized in this article too. Moreover, some proposals in order to monitor students will be proposed together with the fact of combining the Personal and Professional Project of students with the needs of the society where they will develop their abilities.
