dc.description.abstractThe robotic cell (100) has a self-supporting structure (10) that is composed of three concurrent beams in a zenith node with a hollow axis, and arranged radially in a horizontal plane every 120 angular degrees. A feeding apparatus (20) is composed of a semi-rigid external hose for material transport, is connected by unit of a hose coupling to an extension tube with fixing flange, and is secured with bolts to an inner drum of a hollow shaft rotary connector. A multi-axis actuator device (30) is composed of a rotary diametrical beam that rotates in center on a circular guide. A carriage is driven by a motorized pinion and a rack and is guided by four runners on two guides parallel to each other. The manipulator robot is mounted in an inverted position such that the power and control cables are protected by a horizontal cable-carrying chain. USE - Mobile robotic cell for manufacture of component and enclosures printed on site using multi-axis three-dimensional (3D) printing system. ADVANTAGE - The robotic cell allows the generation of double helical trajectories of simultaneous deposition of continuous filaments of a mortar of cement, polymer, biomaterial or other similar material that does not require formwork to shape or contain while solidifies. The joint advance of the two interchangeable nozzles is allowed to describe the topology of an ascending double helix such that the time elapsed between the deposition of each successive layers is reduced and the too rapid an initial set is prevented from preventing consecutive layers of mortar from adhering properly to each other.
