dc.description.abstractBuilding material production involves mixing calcium sulfate (gypsum) at different stages of dehydration with extruded polystyrene and waste water. The formed mixture is kneaded for two minutes to a suitable consistency. The extruded polystyrene waste is crushed and ground previously. 0-5% of retardant additive or water-reducing additive, and 0-4% of natural fibers, minerals or polymeric fibers with a length of 6-30 mm, are optionally included. USE - Method for producing building material based on plaster. ADVANTAGE - The method produces lightweight building material in a simple and cost-effective manner, and replaces additives and traditional lightweight aggregates which are incorporated in plant, such as perlite or expanded vermiculite.es
