Abstract
The city of Asilah (Morocco) has one of the most interesting medinas in North Africa. The religious architecture constitutes a valuable heritage that is divided between mosques, zawiyas and marabouts. In each of these sanctuaries the mihrab is the common, essential element in the interior spatial configuration. In the present work these mihrabs are studied and classified from a typological and formal point of view.
