Abstract
A test to recognize and classify the different profiles of students of Technical Architecture degree based on their academic results is performed. Students scores in the subjects of the first year of the degree are analysed, performing a descriptive and correlation study as well as a cluster analysis which allows to group students into different groups or classes (taxonomy). This classification can facilitate the identification of strengths and weaknesses in terms of various characteristics of students as well as help in making decisions for the academic guidance of students. © 2016, Universidad del Zulia.
