Abstract
The Monastery of Guadalupe and the surrounding countryside are important elements in Spain's cultural heritage. The roads leading to this place of pilgrimage influenced the location of the monastery and chapels of Santa Catalina and San Blas. The opinion of one of the authors of this paper corroborates the theory that the modular grid is still incomplete. The paper analyses the position of these buildings in the landscape and graphically compares their plans. This multidisciplinary study examines written documents which can enhance the research and assist in its dissemination.
