Resumen
The Andalusian bus station network (with 100 million passengers annually and 2.000 bus stops) consists of 72 bus stations with quality services (waiting rooms, toilets, coffee shops, information, etc) The size of the installation and that of the cities where they are located are very diverse, these depends on the size of the settlements ranging from 5.000 inhabitants up to 700.000 of Seville, the capital of the Region. Normally, the installations consist of new constructions, located in urban or sub-urban new areas. The buildings are designed to enhance the existing urban environment The main element is a hall containing services required by the passengers with access to loading bays. Six stations are currently under construction. Other cities are planning to build bus stations and a further twelve cities are undertaking preliminary studies (location and size).
