2003Abstract
In this work, we present an experimental method for magnetic anisotropies measurement. We propose to use circular discs of magnetic material that are magnetized under the action of a constant amplitude rotating magnetic field. By analyzing the different harmonic amplitudes of the emf induced in a pick-up coil, it is possible to obtain the anisotropy constant, K, and the in-plane anisotropy direction. © 2003 Elsevier B.V.
