Abstract
Nowadays, the methodology existing to measure the shrinkage in air(1), developed for paste and cement mortars, has serious problems to be applied to lime mortars, due to ifs different mechanism of hardening several modifications in Norms UNE 80-113-86 y 80-112-89 make possible the determination of the shrinkage in these traditional mortars.
