This communication shows part of the results obtained in the research project “Arquitectura y Hábitat: investigación para la mejora global de espacios habitacionales en la región del Tafilalt— Arqui-Hábitat” (ADSIDEO 15/16-AD1409-UPV) developed over two years in the oasis of Ferkla, and which included the participation of the Berber population, resident in ksar El Khorbat (earthen city). The study focuses on the findings of the analysis of visual preference, carried out with participation of native population. It aims to diagnose the “health” of its landscape and assess the risks of their identity features, especially of its earthen architecture. © 2018 Taylor & Francis Group, London.
