2016Abstract
Emotional intelligence (EI) has aroused significant interest both in the labour field and in the educational field, as numerous researches have shown that there is a relation between social emotional development, business efficiency or productivity and learning process. In this article this concept developing is considered; as this intelligence has an increasing role in training programmes of companies of various types; as it is included in different educational levels: infants, primary and secondary. In this research deficiency of this training in the post-compulsory education is highlighted: Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training (VT) and University. Furthermore, Mindfulness educational experience of student of Upper Level Training Cycles is presented with a brief study of the importance attached to EI education in relation to the profession and the use of meditative techniques for personal development.
