Research in the Classroom: Technical Architecture Degree at Jaume i University

Abstract
As current members of the academic community and due to the assessment system established by the relevant entities, the teaching and research staff is drawn to focusing their efforts on researching. However, they do not neglect their work as teachers, which in most cases is the initial reason that led them to joining the academic world. To support teachers work, both research and teaching, in the Architectural Technology Degree of Jaume I University in Castellon, specifically in the areas of Graphic Expression and Construction, a specific pedagogical methodology has been developed by moving the research they do to the interest of first and second year students. This solution will result in optimizing time, the teaching quality improvement, but also in an improvement of the students' motivation, which is shown in the latest scientific developments applied to the subject. This article aims to show the link between specific researched cases and specific subjects, and vice versa
