Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare, from the point of view of their applicability, including virtual platforms currently available in network for students at university official studies, looking in each case, the different possibilities of interaction between the student and the virtual platform, work resources available and the range of tasks capable of implementation in these areas, all relating to academic activities developed so far in the School of Technical Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain), and its extension to the new qualification of Graduate in Building Construction Engineering in the context of the European Higher Education. Moreover, considering the contributions to the work methodology in the environment of these platforms, different software tools designed to facilitate the management of work by students. Special consideration is devoted to activities related to the Virtual Labs, by conducting on-line practices, and their integration into the overall operation of the residential course.
