Abstract
This writing presents a preview of the results of the I+D Project (20110499 Cód. ADSIDEO-2011 y NR 1926 PAID-06-11-2011-Universitat Politècnica de València) carried out in the Midelt province in Morocco between 2011-2013. Research began with the search for graphic sources and documentation as references to earthen cities (ksar sing., ksour pl.) in the valley. We were able to verify that there were no documents that gathered-as an inventory-all the ksour, apart from the records made by Charles de Foucauld after his trip to Morocco, which was reflected in his work Reconnoissance au Maroc (1883-84). This writing shows the results of the inventory of ksour in the Outat valley, where for the first time all their names are collected, as well as their geographical, architectural and urban information, which will serve as a basis for further detailed analysis of each one of them. © 2015 Taylor & Francis Group, London, UK.
