Resumen
Lime mortar production involves mixing lime, aggregate, water and recycled polyamide powder, and then drying at room temperature to form a homogeneous mixture. The formed homogeneous mixture is mixed with water for kneading according to standard procedure. The polyamide has average particle size of 60 mu m, bulk density of 0.54 g/cm3, and actual density of 1.07 g/cm3. USE - Method for producing lime mortar for spreading on walls and ceilings. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to produce lime mortar in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner by using polyamide powder as waste originated from selective laser sintering. The produced lime mortar replaces masonry mortars and has improved basic properties such as workability, absorption and adhesion resistance.
